With its programme for schools, the Cobra Museum of Modern Art aims to be an interactive museum and a place where participation, discovery and experience take centre stage. The educational programmes offer refreshing insights into the present at both an individual and a societal level. In doing so, we connect the transhistorical heritage of the CoBrA movement with contemporary art and current issues.

Dialogue between students and artists, but also between students themselves, is important to us.

We want to be innovative propagators of participation and (investigative) active learning in a museum environment. In our programmes we focus on experimentation and the development of understanding. In the museum we play with possibilities, make connections, use our intuition, dare to be different, tolerate uncertainty, wonder and question ourselves and art and challenge existing assumptions.
