The museum offers special facilities for disabled visitors. An elevator and toilet for persons with disabilities are available in the museum. These are suitable for wheelchairs and walkers and can be used independently. You can borrow a wheelchair free of charge at the cash desk.
Would you like to reserve an aid prior to your visit? You can do so via info@cobra-museum.nl or 020 547 50 50. Do you have a question during the visit or can we help you with something? Then contact a museum employee for support – they are happy to help.
There is also a disabled parking lot across the square where parking is available if you have a disabled parking permit. Unfortunately, the parking lot is not easily accessible, so we recommend that you follow the following instructions:
If you arrive from the Keizer Karelweg (both directions) follow the sign for the parking garage ‘Stadsschouwburg’. When you reach the entrance of the parking garage ‘Stadsschouwburg’, do not turn right into the parking garage, but turn left and follow the road. You will make a u-turn. On the right, you will first pass a ‘loading and unloading’ area. The spot after that is the disabled parking lot.
Companions of people with disabilities get free admission to the museum. We recommend ordering a ticket online in advance of your visit. To do so, select the ticket option ‘companion’.
The museum allows service dogs fitted with a suitable harness.
The International Accessibility Symbol (ITS) has been awarded to Museum Cobra. In 2009 the museum won the Accessibility Prize.
