Museum Cobra offers countless possibilities for events and gatherings, both when the museum is open and outside!
Think of a product presentation in the exhibition hall, a reception amidst the paintings, a meeting or presentation combined with an inspiring guided tour, a private meeting or a dinner with our beautiful works of art as an atmospheric background. Museum Cobra is the inspiring venue for any event!
The building, designed by architect Wim Quist, exudes modernity with plenty of natural light, large windows and open spaces. In addition, the museum features a sculpture garden designed by Shinkichi Tajiri. Located in the heart of Amstelveen, near the ring road, right next to Stadshart Amstelveen shopping center and around the corner from the Schouwburg, Museum Cobra is easily accessible.
Possibilities
The Lecture Hall and Library are available for private events on all days of the week. All Mondays and evenings of the week the museum can be rented for exclusive events. In some cases it is possible to rent the entire museum for one or more days during opening hours. Please contact us, we will be happy to tell you about it.
Catering
As one of the few museums in the Netherlands, we have in-house catering. This means that we have a lot of experience in catering for events and that everything we serve comes fresh from our own kitchen. We can work quickly and flexibly and meet many needs. For dinners, parties and large gatherings, we work with several external caterers who guarantee top quality. We like to think along with you, also about the catering!
