For birthday kids, the Cobra Museum organizes fun, creative parties! During a birthday workshop the children get to work like a real artist. And of course they work in the spirit of Cobra: spontaneous and experimental. They are allowed to mess around and are encouraged to color outside the lines.
The birthday boy or girl and his or her friends each make their own painting with acrylic paint on a real canvas! At the museum, a number of Cobra artworks are first viewed and discussed. Then the children get to work themselves. When the works are finished, they are discussed afterwards in the group. Naturally, they may be taken home afterwards.
Age: 6 to 12 years old
Participation: up to 10 children
Workshop duration: 90 minutes
When: on Saturdays from 11:00-12:30 a.m. or 2:30-16:00 p.m. and during school vacations also on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays
Cost:€ 200 (incl. entrance, materials)
Extra service
To make the party complete, we offer from 10-11 a.m. and from 4-5 p.m. the opportunity to bring your own birthday cake in the café. When making your reservation, please indicate if you would like to use this service and a table will be reserved in the café especially for you. Any lemonade and other drinks can be ordered in the café.

Conditions
Parties are offered on Saturdays. Your request is final when we have scheduled a museum docent and upon receipt of an email confirmation. If you cancel a birthday workshop within one week before your visit, we will be forced to charge a standard fee of €95. Prices are fixed and cannot be combined with other discount offers or discount cards such as Museumkaart or Amstelveenpas.
