The fashion and styling students of NL Mode Academy are very proud of the cooperation with the Cobra Museum and present their work to the public on February 28 at 14:30. They will do this through a real runway show in the exhibition Anton Corbijn – MOØDe.
The NL Mode Academy is a fashion and styling school with a lot of personal attention, based in Amstelveen. Both styling and design are covered during the course. Therefore, a runway show is the perfect opportunity to showcase their talent.
The students of NL Mode Academy have studied the work of leading photographer Anton Corbijn, whose work is currently on display at the Cobra Museum. In the exhibition MOØDe, Anton Corbijn presents photographs from his extensive oeuvre in which he explores the crossover between portrait photography and the world of fashion. In doing so, Corbijn embraces the terms “mood” and “fashion” in the broadest sense.
The students are currently putting the finishing touches on their Anton Corbijn – MOØDe inspired designs that will be shown on the ‘museum runway’ at the Cobra Museum on February 28. After a swinging runway show, some masterpieces will remain on display in the museum until the end of the exhibition.
