Queer Dating at the Cobra Museum - Museum Cobra

Queer Dating at the Cobra Museum

Saturday 30th of March

In collaboration with Queer History Month, the Cobra Academy is organising Queer Dating at the Cobra Museum!

Date: Saturday 30 March
Time: from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (all day)
Cost: free (free with a valid museumticket)

How free do you feel? And how important is expressing your identity?

Take your date to the exhibitions: A Cry for Freedom! and Anton Corbijn – MOØDe. In good spirits and with an exciting/intriguing question booklet in your hand, explore the art in the museum and get to know each other better.

Cobra was an international movement of young, progressive artists. In the years after World War II, they caused a revolution: a breakthrough in modern art that continues to this day in art conceptions and artistic expressions. The joy of total spiritual and artistic freedom and spontaneity was to counterbalance the nightmare of war.

Freedom is not as obvious as it seems, it still has to be fought for. As you walk around the exhibitions, you will be challenged to think about freedom and identity.

Bring your date, share your perspectives and create lasting memories together.

The question booklet is available at the box office/counter
