Step into a poetic performance where visual artist Sam Samiee, in collaboration with Saghar Saharkhiz, brings a unique dialogue to life. Frottage – a title taken from one of Samiee’s own artworks – weaves together personal memories, philosophical reflections, and global influences into a compelling narrative.

Written by Samiee and performed by both artists, the piece unfolds through voice, text, and interaction. It explores themes of identity, imagination, and the transformative power of art. Ideas of relationality, authorship, abstraction, and resistance emerge, linking the legacy of the Cobra movement with artistic currents from Iran and the Global South.

Frottage invites reflection and imagination – on shared dreams, unfinished struggles, and the universal drive for expression. A unique experience for anyone passionate about art, culture, and meaningful storytelling.
