Road work on A9 highway

Friday 1th till Monday 4th of March

Deel:

Due to roadworks on the viaduct on the A9, the northbound lane of the A9 between the Holendrecht junction and exit A9-5a (Stadshart) will be closed from Friday 1 March 20:00 until Monday 4 March 05:00.

The Stadshart exit and the Aalsmeer exit will remain open to traffic towards Schiphol throughout the weekend. Traffic on the A9 will be diverted via the A2, A10 and A4 during this period. In Amstelveen itself, traffic will be diverted via the Oranjebaan.

On the southbound lane of the A9, one lane will be closed. This may cause some disruption to traffic towards Utrecht and Diemen.

Museumweek 2024 | Share your museum card

Saturday 30th till Friday 5th of April

Deel:

Join 1.5 million other cardholders in lending your Museum Card during Museum Week. Give your grandmother a museum visit, let your baker or butcher taste culture and check with your neighbour whether he can appreciate an exhibition. That way, together we can introduce as many people as possible to the extraordinary offerings in museums. Nice, because the museum belongs to and is for all of us!

The ground rules

  • During Museum Week, museums do not have to check whether the Museum Card displayed belongs to the visitor.
  • However, people do have to show the real Museum Card. No copy or photo of the card.
  • One visitor may enter per card. So the visitor enters instead of the cardholder. You can always go at another time.
