About the artist collective ‘it is part of an ensemble’
it is part of an ensemble is a multidisciplinary collective that has been operating at the intersection of visual art and theater since 2018. For each project, new collaborations are entered into and the composition of the group changes. Recurring questions are: How do we live together, how do we work together? How do we shape our togetherness? This involves the whole ecology of living together, including non-human animals, plants, architecture and the environment. The collective previously had presentations in Billytown, The Hague; Club Solo, Breda; De Pont, Tilburg and Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, Sint Martens Latem (B), among others.

Activities
During the exhibition Lucebert X it is part of an ensemble, the central studio in the exhibition space will be used at various times. This studio acts as a dynamic workspace where the collective comes together to experiment and share their processes with the public. The activity around the studio provides a unique opportunity to witness the collective’s progress up close, with spontaneous interactions and new creations taking center stage.

#1 Poetry Cat Walk
One of the highlights of the program is the #1 Poësie Cat Walk. Inspired by the poetry of Lucebert, the collective has created new hybrid poems that will be both read and embodied this afternoon. Expect a performance full of improvisation and playfulness, blurring the boundaries between text, movement and sound. In the spirit of Cobra and Dada, the audience is invited to participate in a unique experience that casts Lucebert’s poetry in an entirely new light.
